A Transformative Experience for Young Minds
Witness the power of small actions in creating big cultural shifts! In Thessaloniki, over 250 children of the 1st and 2nd Primary School Asvestochori participated in the activities of the REPper project’s Greek Hub, discovering how repair and sustainability can be fun, meaningful, and transformative.
Through hands-on activities and the guidance of their teachers, Rachil Salonikidou and Kostas Kounelakis, these young minds learned that fixing instead of discarding can inspire new behaviors and lasting change. This video captures their journey, showing how the “Small Repairs…Big Changes” nudging activity turned a simple idea into a movement.
The collaboration between Rachil Salonikidou and Kostas Kounelakis, the students, and the REPper team created a ripple effect, influencing not just the children but the entire school community: the children of Thessaloniki are now ambassadors for repair and sustainability, carrying the lessons they’ve learned into their homes and beyond.
