REPper – Repair Festival 2025 in Thessaloniki, Greece

On 18 October 2025, the REpair festival held in Thessaloniki, Greece, brought together citizens, institutions, businesses and local initiatives to celebrate the circular economy, community participation and sustainable innovation.

Building a culture of circular economy, by sharing knowledge, reviving traditional practices and rediscovering how to work together and change behavior.

Round Table Discussions

Panel 1 – Opportunities and Innovation 

Leaders and experts from the Region of Central Macedonia showcased how local initiatives (from bicycle repair stations to textile recycling) are driving a circular economy shift and creating new business opportunities.

Panel 2 – Good Practices & Professional Experiences

Through initiatives such as repair workshops, lending libraries, and educational programs, local actors highlighted effective ways to integrate repair and reuse into community life.

Panel 3 – European Examples in the Field of Repair

Across Europe, innovators are linking design, recycling, and repair. Projects such as DESICE, ZEOS, and REP.PER demonstrate how shared expertise and collaboration are driving the circular transition.
