This November, REPper joins forces with the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) 2025 to put repair at the heart of waste prevention.
The collaboration highlights a shared mission: empowering citizens, communities, and businesses to rethink consumption habits and embrace repair as a simple, effective, and circular solution to e-waste.
Through EWWR’s participatory framework, local authorities, organisations, and volunteers across Europe are encouraged to take action under the common theme of waste reduction. REPper contributes by promoting activities that celebrate repair as a practical and creative way to extend product lifespans, save resources, and support local economies.
During the week, REPper partners and Repair Hubs across Europe will host repair cafés, demonstrations, and awareness events, showing that repairing is not only environmentally responsible but also empowering and rewarding. These activities build on REPper’s ongoing work to strengthen the repair ecosystem through collaboration, skills development, and community engagement.
“Repair is one of the most direct ways to prevent waste,” says the REPper coordination team. “By partnering with EWWR, we want to show that every act of repair, big or small, helps drive Europe’s transition toward a circular economy.”
